South Bend Civic Theatre relies heavily on its volunteers to assist in the production of its ambitious Main Stage, Studio, and Family Theatre Series seasons.
Backstage or technical, as well as “front of house” (such as ushering), positions are in ample supply.
There is room for any level of experience as long as you share a love of quality theatre, have a little (or a lot) of time on your hands and want to have some fun.
South Bend Civic Theatre welcomes all members of the community to participate in this truly collaborative art form.
South Bend Civic Theatre’s technical staff is in need of volunteers to help construct scenery. Some experience with tools and building/carpentry is helpful, but not necessary. We will work with all levels of experience.
Volunteers will work with Civic’s Technical Directors to build sets and properties. Assistance is also needed in the areas of lighting and sound.
