Without question, Billy McGuigan is one of the most dynamic performers ever to grace a South Bend Civic Theatre stage. His portrayal of Buddy Holly last September remains an excitingly vivid memory today.
Now he returns, along with the rest of his band from Omaha, for this SPECIAL EVENT that takes the incredible music of The Beatles and personalizes it with stories taken each night from members of the audience, proving the point that The Beatles’ music is the soundtrack of our lives.
YESTERDAY AND TODAY is a unique Beatles tribute show. Because the audience chooses the songs each night and the audience’s stories make up each evening’s narrative, a different atmosphere is created each night, connecting the audience and performers in a way that no other show can.
The cast will not dress as The Beatles, nor attempt to execute Liverpudlian accents. The emphasis will be on presenting the music in an exciting, well-executed manner.
Not part of our regular season and beause this is a special fund-raising production for SBCT, featuring an entire cast of professional, out-of-town performers, ticket prices for all performances have been set at $28 per person.
Individual, corporate and/or foundation sponsors help underwrite production costs of each SBCT production throughout the calendar year.
