Let South Bend Civic Theatre entertain you next season with an incredible lineup of shows! SBCT has something for everyone in 2012: 8 Mainstage productions, 4 Studio titles, and 3 Kids4Kids shows that are sure to show off our range and talent.
Highlights of the 2012 Season include legendary musicals “Gypsy” and “Into the Woods,” the zany hit comedy “The 39 Steps,” the classic thriller “Wait Until Dark,” and the sensual Pulitzer Prize winner “Anna in the Tropics.” Our Studio Season features shows by some of the most acclaimed contemporary writers working today, including “Sticks and Bones” (David Rabe), “Superior Donuts” (Tracy Letts), “Violet Hour” (Richard Greenberg) plus the classic “Madwoman of Chaillot.”
And that’s not all! To kick of 2012, special guest artist Ron OJ Parson will direct our opening show in the Mainstage, the touching family drama “Blue.”
We have 3 Kids4Kids shows coming up in 2012! Two popular books come to life in “Flat Stanley, Jr” and “Sideways Stories from Wayside School.” Our older kid performers will get “All Shook Up” in a musical romp mixing Shakespeare and Elvis.
