Mission
South Bend Civic Theatre’s mission is:
- to nurture, educate, and develop local interest and talent in the dramatic arts, as well as the technical fields of theatre;
- to provide a showcase — in primarily intimate settings — for the finest possible presentations of live, local theatre; and
- through theatre, to strengthen community bonds and build civic pride.
Our Vision
- To be a model community theatre, period;
- To serve and represent all segments of the South Bend regional population;
- To create a theatre program for young audiences that gives children of all ethnic and economic backgrounds the opportunity to experience the transformative power of theatre; and finally,
- To implement and enhance, in everything we do, our core values of QUALITY, DIVERSITY, INCLUSIVITY, and COMMUNITY.
About Us
Individual, corporate and/or foundation sponsors help underwrite production costs of each SBCT production throughout the calendar year.
