Where is South Bend Civic Theatre located?

Our main building is at 403 N. Main St in South Bend. We are just down the street from Memorial Hospital and next to the Mason's

Do you have parking available at the theatre?

We have parking available on the north-side and to the rear of the building. There is also street parking available nearby.

How do I order tickets?

To purchase tickets, you can call the Box Office at 234-1112 Monday through Friday from 12-6pm or one hour prior to showtime on performance days. You can also purchase tickets here on our website.

Can I get a refund for my tickets?

There are no refunds for single tickets or season tickets.

Can I exchange my tickets?

Tickets may be exchanged at any time in advance of 48 hours prior to your scheduled performance with a $2 per ticket exchange fee. (There is no exchange fee for season ticket holders). Prior to the exchange, the tickets will need to be turned in to the Box Office or at the time of pick-up. A gift certificate will be issued if undecided about a future event.

Help! I lost my tickets! What do I do?

It's okay! Come to the Box Office and we will be happy to reprint them for you with the presentation of a valid ID.

When can I pick up my tickets at Will Call?

Will Call is open one hour prior to showtime.

When can I take my seat?

Seating begins 30 minutes prior to showtime.

If I arrive late, have I lost my seat?

Latecomers will be admitted at the discretion of the House Manager.

I missed my performance.
Can I exchange or receive a refund for my tickets?

Sorry, we cannot exchange or refund tickets for a missed performance.

Can my child sit on my lap or do I have to purchase a ticket for them?

Sorry, we have a no babes in arms policy which means everyone, including infants and young children, is required to purchase a seat.

Do you have wheelchair access and seating?

Yes, we have ramps leading to the door from the parking lot and an elevator to take you to the theatre. We also have special seating for wheelchair access. Please inquire about this seating at the time of purchase.

Do you have hearing assistance?

Yes, in our Mainstage Auditorium only. Please ask our House Manager if you would like a headset.

Can I videotape or photograph the performance?

No flash photography or videotaping is permitted.

Are strobe lights or other special effects used in the performance?

Some of our productions may utilize special effects such as strobe lights, fog and gun-shots. Please inquire at the time of purchase.

Are the plays appropriate for my child?

This answer varies from show to show. Please inquire at the time of purchase.

I am interested in volunteering. How do I do this?

If you are interested in volunteering as an usher or for our box office, email tracie@sbct.org. If you would like to volunteer for backstage work, such as stage crew, sets, etc email david@sbct.org.
